It is important to remember why there is no reason to ask us price and lead time for Ukraine certification which is based on documents for model which was already certified before.

Algorithm of certification for radio equipment  in Ukraine

  1. If you are planning to approve radio equipment, pay your attention that your radio equipment must be included into Ukraine radio electronic register list before certification which is managed by National Commission of Ukraine’s Telecom Regulation (abbreviation NCCR or NKRZ,  link http://en.nkrz.gov.ua/). Usually commission organizes meetings once a month.
  2. Listing of new radio device (model) in Ukraine radio electronic register
    It may take 1-1.5 months. This list is usually published in 5…10 days after date of commission. A certification body doesn’t  have rights to start certification procedure till the moment, when equipment will be listed into Ukraine radio electronic register. It’s Ukraine’s law. So any radio equipment which is put in Ukraine market was listed in Ukraine radio electronic register.
  3. After the listing in Ukraine radio electronic register a certification body can start certification procedure. As a rule it takes 2-3 weeks. When you sign application for certification, that form includes field that the application can be submitted only in one certification body. Before the certificate would be issued any certification body requests certificate number from UKRSEPRO register.  So any equipment which is put in Ukraine market was listed in UKRSEPRO register.
  4. When UKRSEPRO certificate is issued, the original of certificate  must be sent to Federal Technical Regulation agency in Kiev for registration. This way there and back may take 2 week.
  5. Only after certification a local manufacturer can or your representative local partner can start declaration procedure. Every radio and electronic equipment must be declared in accordance with Ukraine’s EMC rules.

Why no reason to request a price for «old» models? First, because any certification body sends inquiries to both register to check if your model is  included in both lists. If that model was already certified and the certificate is validate, why manufacture asks the second certificate absolutely the same? It is impossible to issue two identical certificates in Ukraine. Maybe something wrong? As a rule after that accredited certification body refuses you to certify your product once again. A certification broker can offer you special terms but the price will be other, the terms – incorrect  …  and the certificate may be illegal.
