Certification in Russia
Sanitary Certificate (санитарно-эпидемиологическое заключение) – sanitary approval which guarantees sanitary safety until July 01, 2010. Now sanitary certificate is not issued any longer.
State Registry Certificate (свидетельство о государственной регистрации) – new kind of sanitary approval which guarantees sanitary safety from July 01, 2010.
Expert's Report (экспертное заключение) – document which includes sanitary test results and conclusion.
Custom Union – common custom territory and market regulations of Russia, Belorussia and Kazakhstan.
From July 01, 2010 Sanitary Department of Health Ministry stopped to issue Sanitary Certificate because new Custom Union sanitary regulation came into force in Custom Union of Russia, Belorussia and Kazakhstan. From that moment State Registry Certificate became a new kind of sanitary approval which guarantees sanitary safety of goods and products. State Registry Certificate is validity on territory of three countries – Russia, Belorussia and Kazakhstan.
Sanitary Certificates which were issued before July 01, 2010 will act till January 01, 2012 in Russia and those Sanitary Certificates will not valid on territory of other Custom Union countries – Belorussia and Kazakhstan.
Custom Union committee issued a list of goods under sanitary control, which is approved by each of contries, and consist of three sections.
Electrical equipment, electronic, telecommunication equipment and IT equipment are included on section #1.They are not object of obligatory sanitary certification, but you can voluntary get sanitary approval – Expert's Report (pages 1-3) and approval letter (page 4) for such equipment.
