Legislative assembly of Russian Federation passed the law of Low Voltage Equipment. That LVE technical regulation and new certification mark were supposed to enter in force in Dec. 31, 2010. Previous GOST R certification system and PCT certification mark had to be cancelled in LVE part. But…
Dec. 29, 2010, 8:40 p.m.
President of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev signed the regulation act to postpone the Federal Law # 347-FZ till Jan. 01, 2012. Cause Custom Union of Russia, Belorussia and Kazakhstan was going to issue new common technical regulation of Low Voltage Equipment in 2011 year.

# 768 Regulation act of Custom Union Committee
Custom Union Committee enacted legislation that new Low Voltage Equipment technical regulation (ТР ТС 004/2011) and new Common certification mark must be entered in force in Jul. 01, 2012. From that moment national certification systems of Belorussia and Kazakhstan, previous GOST R certification system in Russia and PCT certification mark would be cancelled in LVE part. Certification bodies will have to stop issuing GOST R certificates for LVE.
Previous GOST R certificates will be valid till Aug. 15, 2014 year.
