It’s important to remember that Technical regulation and Custom regulation are absolutely different processes in Russia and Custom Union. There are some reasons for it. Technical regulation is part of Russian legislation but Custom regulation is part of Custom Union legislation of 3 countries — Russia, Belorussia and Kazakhstan.
Therefore you have to provide different sets of documents to clear customs and sale your equipment on Russian market or other CU countries. So sending your enquiries to us — finalize details what kind of approvals do you need — to clear customs or put your equipment on Russian market or both.
Step by step Russian government and Custom Union commission try to harmonize Custom and Technical regulations. The first step on this way is three kind of Custom union (CU) Technical Regulations (TR) which have been enforced on February 15, 2013.
It’s LVE CU RT, EMC CU TR and Machinery CU TR which set common requirements for equipment produced, imported and used on Custom Union territory. CU TR certificate and declaration are common documents for three country — Russia, Belorussia and Kazakhstan.
